We are a full service title insurance company providing title insurance, escrow and closing services for Cameron County, Texas. Our offices are located in Brownsville, Harlingen and South Padre Island.
With over 200 years of combined experience, we offer a highly trained staff of escrow officers, title examiners and abstractors. Our records date back to the 1880’s and we have one of the oldest title plants in Cameron County.
Valley Abstract Company was established in 1948 by Mr. M.L. Dew, a local attorney. The name was changed to Rio Grande Valley Abstract, Inc. in 1987 when Margaret Joan White purchased the company from the Dew family. She has worked in the title industry for over 40 years.
Rio Grande Valley Abstract Co., Inc. is family owned and operated. Ms. White is pleased to have both her daughters working with her in the ‘business’.
